I found this restaurant online while searching for wine window options in Florence. I came in pretty late on my first night there and the wine window had just closed. It was okay because I decided to dine in for dinner.
I ordered shrimp pasta , Aperol Spritz and cheese cake which was amazing. Everything was delicious and well flavored. The cost of my meal was pretty affordable and under 30€.
The restaurant has a nice vibe, the servers were friendly and there were plenty of seats available as a solo walk in. I felt comfortable although I dined alone.
I hope to come back for the wine window experience and more pasta when in Florence again.
This was my favourite restaurant to eat at in Florence! I’m not usually a fan of risotto but I loved the pumpkin risotto. It was so rich and flavourful. They also have a wine window which is a plus. Not only was the food amazing but the staff were so friendly as well. Definitely recommend!
This place is known for their “wine window” you can order outside and someone hands your wine through a small window. You can also go in and have drinks and food as well which is what we did. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We order a light appetizer which was surprisingly great. It was very thin bread or chips that came with different sauces. The drinks we’ve had in Italy were always refreshing and this place satisfied our thirst for sight seeing and the summer heat. Definitely worth coming in and checking out.
This place is curious, comfy and charming. It has everything! Lots of tourists stop by the window in order to get a glass of wine 🍷
The local has space and the menu for the drinks is quite wide. If you cross Santo Spirito st, I suggest you give it a chance.
In addition, the staff is really cool and kind!
We did a food tour the night prior and indulged in the wine window which was cool and found their Sangiovese was delish, we were in the area the next day and opted to hop in for a quick lunch; if you are coming for the wine window anticipate at least a 35-45 minute wait (we visited on friday/saturday though and with our tour were lucky we didnt have to wait that long).
Service was terrible, staff not so friendly but plate was tasty and wine was yum at a good price.
Nice drink and appetizer. Nice vibe. I would not stand outside to get a glass from a small window and take a selfie - it’s ridiculous. We are not in Disneyland. You are in Italy,slow down , sit down , enjoy the food and drink slowly. Standing in line for an hour to get a drink from a small door in the wall , drinking it while standing if the opposite of the Italian experience. There is nice seating and food inside.
The restaurant and staff were very charming - I ordered an avocado toast initially. Afterwards, I ordered from the wine window. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Diamond of a place ! Definitely visit here if you come to Florence 🇮🇹, beautiful food & excellent service from staff, we will be returning 💯!
